Awesome torch and very powerful. I have a friend with 2 much larger longer torches and when on the farm mine was more powerful, very impressed!
Value for money compared to china made $500 + torches.
Love supporting Australian made and they have done a terrific job.

Purchased 2 of these, 1 for the rifle & one for bringing the dairy cows home in the dark. For the cow job- I can't get 5 light modes can only find 4 but the brightest one is brilliant bringing the cows home and the beam length lights up the whole paddock. Highest mode doesn't last for as long as I would appreciate however but depending on distance of travel need to charge every 2-3 days which was about the same time I was getting out of my nightcore and hi-power torches that weren't anywhere near as bright or long beam. Kicks the arse of the pair of ledlensers I had that there was consistently 1 on charge

Rifle- the man says its pretty good in long grass but in shorter grass the olight is better. The beam is much less focused than his olight, he likes it well enough but it's not his favourite, says the olight lights up the fox eyes better. As he only got it for Christmas he's only been out a couple of times so far so his opinion may change with a few more trips.

The big advantage for this torch over the alternatives are the ability to change the batteries on the go, when the boys are out spotlighting they may go all night and a single charge on the competition just doesn't cut it & they have to come home after an hour or less complaining & disappointed. This torch takes the same batteries as the original javelot (that we have lots of!) So a pocket full of spares to switch out is keeping them pretty happy

It's a beauty

I have always looked for the best torch that I can get without breaking the bank. I have just found it. What a great torch, it does all that I want is not to bulky and as tough as nails.

what a great torch the only thing i wish we could get acouple extra of hours out of it as life of battery lasted about 3hrs before we had to change to charge up
